Pampa Camarones SpA informs that, regarding the incident affecting our worker Jos\u00e9 Miguel Espinoza Albornoz, 43 years old, married and with one daughter, who works as an LHD Operator, he is in good health and maintains radio communication with the exterior every 20 minutes. Necessary arrangements have been made to ensure he is in constant contact with his family.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pampa Camarones SpA continues to deploy all necessary human and technical resources for the control, monitoring, and rescue of our worker.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Around midday, rescue efforts inside the mine were joined by personnel from the GOPE Brigades and mining rescue experts from the El Teniente Division of Codelco Chile. The rescue team has developed and agreed upon a plan that would allow access to the cab of the equipment where Jos\u00e9 Miguel is located, with the aim of evacuating him. The plan is currently being executed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Present on-site, monitoring the development of the work plan, are the Presidential Delegate of the Arica and Parinacota Region, Mr. Ricardo Sanzana; the National Director of Sernageomin, Mr. Patricio Aguilera; the Regional Mining Secretary, Mr. Daniel Curiqueo; the Regional Director of Sernageomin, Mr. Ricardo Venegas; the Regional Director of Senapred, Mr. Javier Carvajal; and the Chairman of the Board of Pampa Camarones, Mr. Andr\u00e9s Susaeta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pampa Camarones SpA expresses gratitude for the commitment and support provided by all National and Regional Authorities, as well as the various mining companies with which we are in constant communication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Arica, July 10, 2024.- 6:00 PM.
