Santiago, August 31, 2023<\/em> – Pampa Camarones SpA (the Company) successfully completed its registration in the ScaleX Market of the Santiago Stock Exchange today, marking the first milestone for the Company’s listing process on the local venture exchange. Through this process, the Company aims to raise $7 million to finance its expansion.<\/p>\n

With this step, the Company, controlled by Miner\u00eda Activa, will become the first mining sector company to go public on the ScaleX Market of the Santiago Stock Exchange.<\/p>\n

The operation, led by LarrainVial Corredora de Bolsa as the placement and sponsorship agent, involves conducting a roadshow during September and visiting Pampa Camarones’ operations in the Arica and Parinacota Region, alongside local and foreign investors.<\/p>\n

In this regard, Robert Mayne-Nicholls, CEO of Pampa Camarones, will announce the company’s listing during the Exploration and Mining Fair (FEXMIN).<\/p>\n

Regarding the operation, the executive stated, “The company’s goal through this capitalization is to extend the life of our deposit located in the Camarones Commune, in the Arica Region, for another six years, as well as to finalize the consolidation of the mining property of our Cicl\u00f3n-Exploradora Project located in the Taltal commune. This project will allow Chilean mining to expand and realize its potential in the exploitation and processing of polymetallic minerals.”<\/p>\n

Jaime Herrera from ScaleX mentioned about this new operation, “The market is gaining traction, and we are laying the groundwork to make Chile a regional investment hub. In this sense, Pampa Camarones’ registration in the Alternative Market of the Santiago Stock Exchange represents a milestone for ScaleX, not only because it reflects the high interest of larger companies that also wish to finance themselves but also as a real financing alternative for the development of industries as significant as mining in our country.”<\/p>\n
